About Us...

Golland Farm came under new ownership in January 2007. The new owner Nigel Tuck works with Lauren and Becky to look after the holiday cottages, farm animals and the production of fruit and vegetables.

The farm is run organically and new vegetable plots have been created. The orchard and soft fruit plot are to be improved and future plans include a heat exchange system and bore hole. The animals on the farm include free range chickens, guinea fowl, Berkshire pigs, Rex rabbits, Red Sussex cows and  rare breed Balwen lambs and ewes.

There is a firm emphasis on “green” ways of working here - We have lots of ideas for the farm, check back regularly to see what’s new!

As an organic and environmentally aware farm, we do encourage our guests not to shop at supermarkets while they are staying on the farm. Devon produces some of the best food and drink in the country, which is grown and made by people who are passionate about providing quality food. We can provide free range eggs to guests at most times of the year, and local shops include a butchers, bakers, green grocers, and general organic store.

All our guests can be guaranteed to receive a warm welcome when they arrive, there’s even a ‘welcome pack’ to help you settle in including wine, milk, butter, eggs and a loaf of bread.

We look forward to meeting you!

Nigel, Lauren and Becky
